I have been teaching a Business English student and I need to prepare a 3 page end-of-course report. This is the first time I have done it, and I'm not sure if there is a standard format to follow.
I'm looking for advice on how the report should be laid out, and what I should include.
The course ran for a total of 40 1.5 hour classes. We worked on general conversation for the first 45 minutes, using topic sheets and news articles. The rationale was that the student has little opportunity to speak English at work.
Th second 45 minutes was spent on general grammar, phonetics, and writing skills, looking at form and layout of various business communications. The student completed mock correspondance, which I would then comment on using word (highlighting errors and the kind of error). The student would then read the comments and correct their own work.
