Hi

I was wondering if anyone knew of any great websites and books that new tefl teachers could use for lesson plans, game ideas, and grammar.

Im looking at teaching a mixture of groups and one-to-one so any books that can show the various.

Any ideas that any of u might have please feel free to comment as the prospect of going out there in a real life teaching situation is daunting so any kind help would be appreciated.

Peace to all

Marg

Hi Marg

Two websites that we recommend to our newbies are

http://www.onestopenglish.com and http://www.handoutsonline.com

The first one has a great lesson share where more experienced teachers put their lessons plans that have been written by them and tried out in the classroom. They are also divided into categories such as games, listening, speaking etc.

Handoutsonline is a paid site but very cheap, the material is great quality and once laminated lasts a life time. It has great flash cards, preposition snakes and ladders, business English, stuff for groups, one to one, just about everything.

Hope this is helpful
