Giving Opinions: Speaking lesson

Unread postby MrPink » 10 Jan 2014, 13:16

Hey Guys,

I'm a new teacher and I have to prepare a lesson about giving opinions with phrases like in my opinion... and also explaining them for example 'it's interesting' as well as negative expressions.

I think it's a cool lesson, I'm just trying to think of the best way to introduce the topic to the students. One idea I had was to say an example 'weird' sentence to spark opinion but I'm struggling over what a good one could be.

My students are young adults. Can anyone think of a natural or interesting way they introduce this? Does anyone have any good lesson plans for this in general? I want to avoid serious and political themes.

Thank you,

Pink
