Help.........Past tenses!!

Hi, i am a really novice english teacher and at the moment have a polish couple to teach that are really good at english. They have asked me for the next lesson to help with all past tense, however they seem to know it to me?!! i haven't a clue what to do with them, plus i don't have any books to use either. I'd really appreciate any help, Nat.
