Video Activity Library

Hello All,

I'm writing to make you aware of a new video activity library I'm working on. They follow the format of: 2-3min video clip, script and comprehension check questions. The idea is that the students first listens, listens and reads, then discusses and answers the questions.

They are very simple and easy to use. Try them out! I'll be adding more regularly.

FREE TV SHOW LESSONS

Unread postby Skypelessons » Fri Sep 07, 2012 3:02 pm

Hi Richard,

I think what you have done is a very good thing, and I will be watching your videos later to see if I could use them. I have something similar on my site, but I make comprehension, vocabulary and grammar exercises for TV shows. Examples include episodes from...

IT Crowd (int)
Father Ted (int)
The Office (adv)
Blackadder (u.int)
Henry VIII (u.int)
Sherlock Holmes (u.int)
Derren Brown (u.int)
Game On (int)
The Simpsons (int)
Jamie Oliver (u.int)

I have more than 60 episodes, and they are all available for free download as word documents on my website. I keep them there for my students, but other teachers are welcome to use them too. :D

Happy Teaching!
