Current market in Europe?

Hi,

I currently work in admin in the UK and have a few yrs experience and a degree but I want to change my path. I'd like to work in Europe and am fairly good at picking up languages but I don't really have any at the moment. I used to speak French fairly well so I'm thinking of going to France/Luxembourg/Belgium. I thought a good path towards moving to/working in another country would be to TEFL, but can anyone advise on what my prospects are and how competitive it is, what kinds of teaching there are etc? I think I'd prefer teaching adults, is this realistic for someone under 30? Am I on totally the wrong track? Any advice gratefully received.
