New to TEFL....which country is best?

Unread postby mrose » 19 May 2010, 23:54

Hi :)

Im going to be doing my online TEFL course soon and im already looking into job placements for European coutries...

What qualifications are needed?
What countries are the best to work in?

Im also looking to be in contact with teachers in Europe so that I can get first hand information about how working as an English Teacher in a foreign country is.

Thanks in advance for all your help!

Peace

Hi,
Most employers will insist on some kind of TEFL certificate, and most governments require a university degree for you to obtain a visa and work legally in their country.
"Best' country is subjective - it depends on so many different criteria and what you personally are looking for.
Your questions are on the most hotly discussed topics here and there is a wealth of information here already - do check out the other threads on this board.
