jobs in UK (Newcastle/Northumberland)?

Hi everyone,

I recently did my TEFL Certificate and really enjoyed the weekend and am really keen to get started but I'm having trouble finding work.
Quite a few of the people who were on my course said that the schools in the area would have jobs as many of them have a lot of different languages being spoken but so far I'm having no luck.

I was planning on going abroad to teach, and would have had no problems finding work - I would have already gone by now, but my circumstances have changed slightly and I'm not looking to leave the UK any time soon.

Does anyone else teach in schools/communities in the UK - I'd really appreciate any pointers as like I say, I'm struggling when I'm searching online for work based in the UK/my area.

Hi Sarah

You could try International House, Stowell St Newcastle. Not sure about vacancies but they are a pretty big outfit.
