The decline of ordinary posters

Unread post by John V55 » 25 Jan 2018, 01:20

It never ends, does it. As soon as anything is written here the link farm spammers return with more reddit and scam central links. I’m coming to the conclusion and it seems to be backed up by a loss of ordinary posters, that it really isn’t worth posting anymore. It’s not the first forum to have been used and no doubt it won’t be the last. Take your eye off the ball admin and this is how it ends up. A shame, but to get to this, it had to be allowed to happen and a short period increase in posts wasn't worth it, I think.

I don’t get angry; a forum isn’t worth getting angry over and amongst getting an extended visa, renewing driving licences and job hunting, I have little time for anything else. As for sites like Reddit, twitter and the like, I don’t bother with them. I do find it sad that the forum was taken over, but that’s just an opinion. I’m not in China anymore, end of contract and it’s now a slow search in Cambodia, Vietnam or Laos.
