Scam check help.

Unread post by Erington »

Hi everyone, I'm new around here. I'm sorry my first post is asking for your help, but it would be truly appreciated.

After applying for a position or two on learn4good, I was contacted by a Chinese woman with the name of Yolanda Wang. Her email address is from hotmail and I'm only including all details for relevancies sale.

We discussed a bit through email before arranging a Skype interview and we were able to do so with no major issues.

The company website that she gave me is:
http://www.waijiao51.com/
After browsing the site in Chinese the English site appears to be the below:
http://www.126english.com/en/

After the successful Skype interview, it was said that the next step included sending a copy of my passport and some daily photos of myself.

Before sending this information (and I still haven't) I emailed her and asked for a photocopy of her China identification card and office address. She promptly sent both the front and back of her card, have me an office address for a location in Beijing and a phone number.

So my question is, does anyone know anything about the person or company (Beijing Zhirui Hudong International Culture Exchange) I'm talking with? I'd really like any help that anyone has on the matter. Just for the record I'm not calling her a fraud, I just want to be safe and verify.

Thank you so much.

Make Google your friend amigo. That company name is blacklisted in a few places including the CFTU and old CTA list. Suggest you visit this link and read up a bit. Good luck to you!
