Getting a Visa for Korea, before or after getting a job.

Just wondering what the best plan of action is. Should I apply for a visa before getting a job in South Korea or after?
Or do agencies usually set you up with a Visa?
Furthermore, if I have to apply before I get a job, should I wait till I get my Visa before I apply?
It should be noted, my initial plan of action is to apply in agencies based in Korea.

have you checked with the Korean consulate in your country how long it takes to get a visa? and how long the visa will last? Also: do they require you to have a job before you can get a visa? Check with the consulate. That should help you decide whether to apply before getting a job or after.
