When to Apply
I'm planning to start TEFL teaching later this year, and hoping to go to South Korea. My question is, about how far in advance should I apply? I'm hoping to start in September, or possibly during the summer.

I recommend right now!
Even if you don't have the tefl certificate, you can always note in your application that you are working towards one.
But applying now is a good time for schools to look through candidates and get back to you to arrange interviews etc, etc.
