Hi,
I'm just about to start teaching a complete beginner one-to-one. She will have about 4 hours a week with me. I have never taught a total beginner before and I would really like some advice on text/work books.
Thanks a lot.

Books for beginners
Hello Sara,
I am a great fan of The English File beginner book, it's published by Oxford University Press. There is an excellent teacher's book to accompany it.
I also like the series The New Cambridge English course.
Good luck with these lessons and please write in again, if you would like more ideas.
