Teaching large classes any ideas?

Hi Everyone
I want to make a PPP for a large class. I heard that it's good to assign group leaders and make small groups of 10. Are there any special things to be careful of when teaching a large class that must be put into a lesson plan.
Thanks.

Hi Jellybean,
I suggest you take a look at these posts. They're mainly about teaching in China, classes of 50-70 students.
Large classes - 65 students
How do I teach large classes for oral English in China?
All the best,
Lucy

Groups of 10 might be too large. It'll be easy for some students in the groups to not participate. You might want to try smaller groups, such as six.
It is a good idea to assign a group leader, but equally important is to assign roles for the other students. That way everyone feels like they are contributing. You can decide the other roles depending on the activity. For example, there could be a person who takes notes, someone in charge of the time, another person in charge of asking you questions, etc.
