Freelance Hourly Rates in Italy

Hi,

Could you give me some idea of how much I will be able to charge per hour for one-to-one teaching of adults in Italy (based in Liguria - probably in the city of Imperia).

Dear Geraint,

It's difficult for me to give you the amount you should charge.

I suggest you take a look at ads in the towns you mention: what are other teachers charging? What are schools charging in that area? You can look on the web; if you are in the town, you can look at notice boards in libraries, universities, local newspapers, etc.You should get an idea of what others are charging. You can then compare your own experience and qualifications with what you see in ads. You will then be able to position yourself in comparison to your competitors.
