Cloud storage for Student projects

Unread postby costume » 18 Jul 2014, 02:52

Hi, I'm new here although I've been teaching TEFL for several years. I have a technical question I hope somebody can help me with.

I want to come up with a way that my students can upload their projects to a cloud storage account I control but that does not allow them to edit the folder in any other way. So far I have not been able to come up with a solution.

I've looked at google drive and dropbox but both seem to either give people too much or not enough access. For instance, they can either view only or they can totally modify the folder.

It's important that students be able to contribute but not do anything that can cause other projects to be lost or damaged. And it has to be something that can handle very large files (these are presentations that can run 50-100 mbs).

I first thought that surely a service was available that can do this but so far I've not had any luck. Any ideas?
