TEFL Experiences

So it's around 6 months until graduation shows up and my TEFLing plans start to fall together. Since I can't really do anything between now and then, except read the course texts (Pft, how useful can this be? Before I get shouted at this was an attempt at a joke...sorry it wasn't very good), I've been trying to get a jist of what the whole expat teaching experience is actually like.

Now, I'm not asking for anyone to type out their entire life story, rather point me in the direction of anyone that has already done so, bloggers, authors and the like. Anything I've found tends to be sponsored by the companies that run the courses so I've taken it with a pinch of salt.
