Dear teachers,
I am developing a diagnostic tool (in the form of a survey/questionnaire) that will be used to evaluate candidates for TOFL jobs.
I want questions, problems and scenarious that the applicant will be confronted with to concentrated around "key methodology areas".
What these areas are is an open question. So far I have identified four (with sub-categories below):
1. Teaching process
- Presentation and instruction
- Practice activities
- Error correction and assessment
2. Classroom management
- Behaviour control
- Classroom interaction
- Lesson planning
3. Course content
- Use of materials/teaching aids
- Moderation
4. Learner differences
- Learner autonomy
- L-centered approach
I would be very grateful if you could contribute If you believe that I have omitted any important key methodology competence area.
