I'm going to Prague in January to teach for 9 months. I'd love to chat to anyone else who is going or is already teaching in Prague. It would certainly make the whole thing a little less daunting! :-)

Is Prague a good place to live and teach?
I understand teachers don't make that much money there as opposed to those teachers employed in western Europe ( or Asia for that matter), but I hear that if you look at the pay from local standards the standard of living is quite nice.I also understand it's easy to snag some private students and save a bit.
Anyone know of some schools in Prague that are reputable?

I'm planning on taking a the certificate course with
http://www.teflintal.com somewhere else then stay and teach in CZ.
PM me here :)
Skylar34:
That's who I'm doing the cert course with, TEFL International.
I'm thinking getting a work permit from CZ then go somewhere else when I feel like it.
If memory serves me right, it's hell getting a work permit from other EU countries...
