training at the same country as you would like to teach

Hi everyone

I wanted to ask if where you trained had a big impact on where you plan on getting employment.

So like, I want to live and teach in Vietnam as I have friends that went there and are still there (more like my parent's but mleh they can help me out) but when I saw that they also have classes in Thailand, I thought very hard and do feel very much that I want to go there. I've been fascinated by the country and want to go there some time in my life and I'm thinking this is the best time to do it as I'm thinking when I get going with teaching, finding time to go there would be next to impossible.

As for getting a job, like I said I have friends over in Vietnam that help me out. And I've spoken with a guy at teflintl.com that their company offers job placement assistance even if you don't take the course at the same country.

anyone think this is a good idea?
