Qualified TEFL Certificate without experience

Hi,

I am wondering if there's a refresher course that I should/could do? My situation is that I gained my qualification four years ago, but I have never gained teaching experience since. Now I wish to work abroad in September in either Japan or South Korea (preferably their capitals).

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Can you give a little more info about your certificate? Was it four weeks or two days? Online or offline? Did you have teaching practice during the course?

There are plenty of refresher courses, but a little more detail from you would allow for more helpful answers.

Hi TN,

It was a month long, offline course in Galway's Atlantic Language School. It was a CELT cert(ACELS recognised). If memory serves I had three or four teaching practices during my training.
