TEFL opportunities in the U.S.?

I am a prospective TEFL trainee and wondering about career opportunities in the U.S. There is plenty of need for English language training and teaching in the U.S. I expect some of the demand is fulfilled by schools, community organizations, and language centers. I am a U.S. citizen looking to teach people already in the country. I seek opinions and feedback on the career outlook in that area. Thanks in advance!
