TEFL Lab?

Hi guys.

I'm new to the world of ESL and I'm still trying to decide if it's for me. I'm leaning towards doing a Cert Tesol course anyway as I attended a Taster Day at TEFL Lab. Now, I have searched high and low and can't find a snippet of a review about this company. I realise that it's relatively new - having launched in 2010 - but I'm sure somebody must have done training with the school.

I would love to hear from anyone who is currently training on the TESOL course or has completed it already. What were the pros, the cons? Did you enjoy it? Was it useful...etc? I need to be sure that I'm spending £800 for something/somewhere that's worth it. I mean, they were nice to me on the taster day, but I'd like to know the experiences of other people...etc.

So, hit me?

Quality TEFL programs will give you some good basics that you won't be able to deliver on your own and short courses generally are NOT the one. Most employers consider a 100+ hour course with at least six hours of observed teaching practice with real teachers, to be the industry standard. Better you can get in touch with them and try to understand their teaching methodologies.

Provided they offer a genuine Trinity CertTESOL course you can't really go wrong.

See the Teflnet FAQ on Cambridge CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, SIT TESOL Certificate.

I found them through the Trinity College website so I'm pretty sure they're legit =). I would like to know some in-house experiences though.
