hello everyone,
could someone give any information on how a diploma in tesol would be looked upon by future employers; i've worked for 6 years in asia on my tefl, but would like to gain a little more accreditation, would it be worth it?

Depends on who you are thinking of working for. Although a Diploma (Trinity DipTESOL or Cambridge Delta) are better for your teaching, in Asia most employers are more impressed by an MA. The exception are some language schools, especially ones with some kinds of roots in Europe such as EF, International House and the British Council.

Hi there, A Diploma in TESOL is a great asset in many countries and well received by employers due to its practical nature. However, in some countries a degree or MA Tesol is a more prestigious qualification, Alex suggests.
A diploma also opens other doors to materials writing, teacher training and management position.
