Looking for a good CELTA centre in the UK

Unread postby esgaleth » Sat Mar 24, 2012 6:47 pm

I wonder what are the most crucial issues to bear in mind while choosing the 'right' CELTA centre.
After days of google search, I'd appreciate any additional information like personal experience, tips or whatever.
The UK is the country I am particularly interested in, yet it's not final.

This FAQ may be of help to you:

In particular:
Is there any benefit to choosing a particular school for my CELTA?
No. The CELTA is incredibly standardised, so you may as well choose by price and location.

Indeed, CELTA should be and quite likely is the same everywhere, at least regarding the requirements, but the schools aren't, which is only natural. Clearly, I have to consider dates and fees but not only. I'd appreciate to know to what extent I can rely on the tutor(s), school facilities, etc. There might be some issues which I just can't think of now but which could save lots of time and effort while doing the course.
Anyway, thanks for the information. Things are becoming clearer after such a massive search, still there are more questions than answers.
