Concept Check Questions

Unread postby Gilroz » 18 Nov 2011, 02:58

I am just learning about concept check questions and have a fairly good idea though am still far from competent at using them. I'm supposed to devise concept questions for "Tanya is having her car repaired" - to check the meaning of the grammatical structure.

Do I begin by asking about car eg. draw a picture and ask "What is this?" or do proceed to the state of the car and what Tanya needs to do? I was thinking of starting with questions like "Is Tanya's car perfectly fine?" but is this too complicated a question? And then go on to questions like "What should she do if the car is not working well?" and "Where should she go?"

Am I on the right track? Appreciate some help here. Thanks.
