Certification and placement

I would like to learn more about the opportunities of teaching English abroad. I earned two Bachelors degrees and a Masters in Education and Student Affairs. I am told with my experience, I am qualified but do not have TEFL certification. All the sites I have found require certification. Where should I be looking/ applying? How do I proceed from here? I appreciate any assistance and insight. Thank you and I look forward to learning more about the exciting opportunities ahead! Best!
