Finding CELTA in Scotland

Unread postby MikeD » Sat May 08, 2010 5:02 pm

Hello everyone,

I'm a 25 year old American guy currently living in Glasgow. I'm interested in teaching overseas for my next step and I'm trying to track down a good 4 or 5 week certification course. I can't seem to find anything beyond a weekend class here in Glasgow, so I'm willing to do a little travel to the surrounding areas to find a decent course offering. Does anyone have a suggestion? I'd like to not get fleeced on prices and I'm a little sick of browsing websites that are trying to sell me something. Looking forward to being a part of this board, thanks in advance.

That's odd - my Google search on you behalf came up with this in the #1 position:

IMHO, a more respectable course, and right on your doorstep, you couldn't hope to wish for ;)

well....damn. I'm not quite sure how I missed that, it seems perfect. I only hope I can persuade them on Monday to let me get my application in for the next course seeing as I just missed the cutoff date yesterday. Thanks systematic. I'm sure I'll be back here soon enough.
