SIT vs CELTA?

Hi all....

I'm currently in the midst of a huge dilemma regarding which course to choose. I've essentially been accepted onto both yet the SIT course is logistically more appealing so is my first choice. Yet i get the impression that the CELTA is a much better course (mostly through how rigorous their interview process was) and so i'm really worried i may be making a bad desicison.

Is the CELTA course really that much better than SIT?

Do the main philosophies of the course differ that drastically?

Considering i have not taught before yet have a degree and a good grasp of grammar, could people please offer some advice on what i should do?
