Hi,

Does anyone have any experience with teflonline.com?

It says on teflonline.com's website that the most basic certificate takes 60 hours, and there are 12 modules. And it says you can go at your own pace.
My question is what is the absolute shortest amount of time it takes to complete the 60-hr course?
If I spend 10 hours a day, can I complete it in 6 days?

Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks!

I'm not familiar with the course you mentioned, but I am well acquainted with ten or so others. I think you've answered your own question - the math is basic. However, there are serious doubts as to whether such a cramming would be pedagogically advisable for TESOL course, or any other on-line, distance, or home study program, whatever the subject.

To plough ten hours into such an activity would involve a 14 - 15 hour day, only you know how good your concentration is over such a period. Therefore the ultimate answer to your question can only be your own estimation of what you as a person are capable of. I would not attempt it, but I was never one for intellectual acrobatics, or getting into the Guinnes Book. :P

if you can, and you do, and you succeed, I will be the first to congratulate you and offer you a job :D

Hi there,

I've taken this online course. You definintely want to give it more time than 6 days. The courses are more challenging than they appear, but in a good way! This course pairs you up with a tutor who grades your work after each module. You generally have to wait one day to get your grades from the previous module. It took me about 3 weeks to complete, and I felt like I was working on it about 3-4 days a week, for a few hours each time. I never thought I would have enjoyed taking a course like teflonline.com, but it's been extremely helpful! Best of luck to you!
