It really narrows it down on what course provider to jump to when you know where you'd like to teach.
Like me. I was aiming for either EU or Asia.
Then I heard about how hard it is for US citizens to get a work visa...
After that I heard that the Czech Republic was easier to get to, as employers there generally do the visa stuff for you (or not, but still hire you anyways, shhhh)
Finally, after a bit of digging, heard about TEFL International's project for China wherein you'd do an onsite course for dirt cheap, but you'll be in a lock-in job for a few months, which isn't that bad since housing is provided for and you're earning *some* moolah just in case, http://www.teflintl.com/
