Online ESL courses?

Good afternoon,

Due to lack of classroom space and a growing number of students, I have been considering the development of online courses that can be taken concurrently with classroom coursework. This would free up some much needed space. I would like feedback on the online method of teaching and its utility for ESL. I am, at this point, only thinking of writing courses. I think they would lend themselves nicely to an online format. Your thoughts?
