Culturlingua Jalisco is a proud member of the Culturlingua family of schools. We are responsible for two language centers, in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco (a lovely suburb of Guadalajara) and in Uruapan, Michoacan (a wonderful regional city famed for its lushous vegetation and advocado production)

We are looking to recruit passionate, enthusiastic and motivated candidates that wish to come to Mexico for a 1 semester contract (there are different contracts starting September 2008). The two language centers have a small and friendly atmosphere. We offer classes in groups of no more than 10 students, providing English classes to students at all levels, from TOEFL preparation to beginner, and through all ages, from 4 years to 50 years old!

Flexibility and the ability to work with your groups of students, identify their strengths and weaknesses and then plan and deliver lessons to help students understand English with the objective of using the language is very important.We are looking for teachers that use teachers books to deliver classes, but then use games and other activities to bring classes to life, really capturing our students INTEREST in learning English.

We offer;

- The security of a 15 week or 20 week contract, with two weeks paid vacation during Easter
- 4,500 pesos a month, paid in cash
- Furnished teachers accomodation
- Utilities are paid for by Culturlingua
- Internet access at school
- Spanish classes at cost price

We are looking for candidates with;

- A very positive, flexible and problem-solving attitude, with respect to teaching
- People with a desire to really make a difference to the lives of our students
- A TEFL / TESOL qualification is ESSENTIAL
- Experience teaching is desired, but not needed
- Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage
- Only native English speakers should apply
