My university is looking for ESL teachers immediately,
I have taught here for a year (also one year previously at another College) and it really is a great place to teach. The pay is very high by Nanning standards, and just like in other countries pay is relative to the cost of living. I live a great life here with plenty of excess money.
The school provides very comfortable apartments and return travel allowance paid in 10 monthly payments so you do not have to worry about being "left out" near the end of a contract.
I have taught in China for 2 years, and this is a great place with great students. The base salary is about 7000 RMB, more with more experience or degrees, and 10 000 for travel. Overtime is available at 100 RMB per classroom hour which is 40 minutes. You teach 18 40 min classes a week,
no extra preparation work is required, office hours are minimal and the mood and tone of the school is very relaxed.. Just enjoy your time in China and enjoy teaching wonderful young college students, like I love to do everyday.
