Applications are now being accepted for the positions of English teacher at Guangxi University, China beginning Fall 2008. One of the best four year universities in Guangxi province, China. Guangxi University is a suburbs campus located in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi province at southern part of China.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor or higher degree from a national accredited institution;
* English native speaker;
* Teaching experience is highly preferred;
* Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of college students.
COLLEGE FACULTY SALARY PER 10-MONTH CONTRACT
(Currency exchange rate $1 USD = 7.10 RMB)
* Monthly Salary: 5,000 RMB to 8,000 RMB
* Round trip international air ticket reimbursement with 10 month payment of 1,000 RMB per month, total up to $ 10,000 RMB;
* Free accommodation with fully furnished 1-bed/1-bathroom apartment per individual, as well as certain amount of utility reimbursement;
* Free bike rental from school during the 10 months assignment;
* One month of salaried winter break during Chinese New Year and 2 days of paid holiday during Christmas;
* If professors arrive on or after Aug. 25th 2008 before the semester starts, the school will provide $100 RMB per day of meal reimbursement.
CONTRACT PERIOD
From early September 2008 to July 2009, 10 months total including the one month of pay winter break. One month of probation.
