Hi, I am Xiao Dong from China-Australia College, Zhengzhou (CACZZ), I am in Charge of the Administration Office and Foreign Teachers Affair in our school.
CACZZ was founded in 1999 and it is the first, only Joint Venture senior high school by China and Australia Education Committee in Henan Province, which is famous for the Yellow River (Chinese Mother River), Birthplace and home of Chinese Kongfue (and Original Shaolin Temple).
Zhengzhou City has a new modern International Airport and is also the Central Train-Travel Hub easily connecting to all of China and is the Capitol City of Henan province
Our school helps train students who are going to go abroad for their further education. Before going, they study basic subjects such as Mathematics, Science, Sociology, Economics, Chinese, IELTS English. Especially we help them to improve their English abilities to pass the IETLS Exam or any Entrance Examination necessary to attend overseas schools and universities. There are three student classifications - ALL SUBJECTS IN ENGLISH, (ASIE) - BILINGUAL CLASS - UNIVERSITY LEVEL.
Students range in age from 15--25 years old, high school level ( Year 9 & Year 12 ), University foundation level (Specially for students who have finished Year 12 in China).
Most of our students will go to Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA, AND U.K.
During the last 7 years, we have sent at least 1000 students aboard and most of them have attained very high achievements.
We need very qualified and experience foreign experts with a strong international educational background, to support our curriculum and development system. With the number of students increasing, for the New Fall Semester of 2008, we need two more full time English teachers - Science teachers (physics or chemistry) and Business and Marketing English courses - ( Teachers with business experience welcome )
At moment, we have 9 foreign teachers in our school, from Australia, Canada, U.K., USA and Philippines. They bring high quality teaching to our students and our students get big benefits from them. All of the foreign teachers are happy to teach and live in our school. Our school is a friendly and happy place to teach and live. Teachers have great freedom to employ their own style of teaching within the required curriculum.
Our school campus is located in the South University City in Zhengzhou. Transportation is very convenient. School campus and comfortable FREE foreign teachers apartments are in a very big Natural Park Area with a beautiful lake surrounded by a variety of trees, flowers, and very fresh air.
Good living surroundings combined with a lively shopping village with many shops a short distance walk from our campus, makes our school an enjoyable place to live and work.
