Bright Future International Training & Services is now hiring for the upcoming 2008-2009 School Year.

Bright Future International Training & Services (BFITS), an educational organization which provides primary and secondary academic programs to private and government schools in the Bangkok area as well as Phang-Na province in the south of Thailand, seeks to hire motivated, ambitious, responsible BA/BS graduates with TEFL certification who are interested in professional development, cultural exchange and travel.

We are hiring for multiple positions within our English Program and Intensive Conversational English Program. Ongoing training and support, professional development, lesson plans, materials, and a coordinator assist with photocopies, etc, are provided to ensure that our teachers are enabled to deliver our quality academic program to students studying English as a Foreign Language.

A major additional benefit of joining our company before April 25th is free enrollment to the Thai Language, Culture and Professional Ethics Training Course, as required by the Ministry of Education this year. The approximate cost of this course is 7000 baht and it is required to guarantee the continued good status of all foreign teachers visas/work permits. BFITS has obtained a private trainer and venue, and will cover the cost of this course for all BFITS employees who successfully complete their teaching contracts.

Successful candidates must be able to arrive in Bangkok prior to April 25th, 2008. We are happy to provide airport pick up, and assist in securing temporary and permanent accommodation. Our Human Resources department is dedicated to helping our new hires transition smoothly into life in the Land of Smiles.

Available Positions:

1. Metropolitan Bangkok Area: Primary Grade 3/4 Teacher to instruct Math, Literature, Health and ICT. This position is very special, as these students have studied in our English program for several years and have a well established understanding of the English language. We have only 7 students in this class, which will enable the teacher to develop a special bond with the class. This position is best suited for an experienced teacher who is looking for a uniquely rewarding experience.
2. Phang-Na Province: Secondary Grade 1 Teacher to instruct Science, Literature and Math (Pre-Algebra), Health and ICT. This school is located in the rural province of Phang-Na, twenty minutes away from the tourist destination of James Bond Island. The Phang-Na area is famous for exotic beaches, lush tropical setting and excellent water clarity for snorkeling and diving. Class size is 20-25 students. This position will be best suited for a more laid back personality with strong academic qualifications.
3. Suburban Bangkok Area: Secondary Grade 1 Teacher to instruct Science and Literature. This school is set in a beautiful campus, with a lovely director, friendly foreign language teachers, and deeply respectful and academically focused students. Class size is 25-30. This position is best suited for an experienced teacher who would like to stay in Thailand long term. Many of our teachers at this school have been with BFITS for many years.
4. Suburban Bangkok Area: Secondary Grade 1 Teacher needed to instruct Science and Math. This school has recently remodeled facilities, a new computer lab, hi speed internet and reinforced sound in the classroom, new desks and is set in a beautiful campus near the old airport in Bangkok. The successful candidate for this position will have IT skills and enthusiasm to pass onto the students.
5. Suburban Bangkok Area: THREE Secondary Grade 1-6 Teachers to instruct English Conversation. This school is set in a beautiful campus, with a lovely director, friendly foreign language teachers, and deeply respectful and academically focused students. Class size is 30-35-30. This position is best suited for a qualified teacher looking to gain experience in a really special school.
6. Central Bangkok Area: TWO Secondary Grade 2-5 Teachers to instruct English Conversation. This school is set in central Bangkok and has modern facilities, friendly staff and students, and recently enjoyed academic success with our program by having top national test scores. This position is best suited for an outgoing, friendly and qualified teacher looking to have a fun and productive school year.
7. Downtown Bangkok, Silom Financial District: FIVE Primary and Secondary Teacher to instruct English Conversation at prestigious all-girls Catholic School. Class sizes are 20-30. The ideal candidates for these positions will understand the strict atmosphere of a Catholic school and be able to have fun with these bright and bubbly, yet studious, girls. This school is set on a very large campus and has over 5,000 students.
8. Central Bangkok Area: Secondary Grade 1-3 Teacher needed to instruct English Conversation. This school is located near Mo-Chit BTS station and has a lovely campus located near Wat Phrasee Temple. This school is an integrated aspect of Phakanon Rajabat Teachers Graduate and Undergraduate University. This is a quiet area of Bangkok, but with an active university student body. These students have scored very high on national academic exams.
9. Suburban Bangkok Area: Secondary Grade 1 Teacher to instruct Math, Science and English Literature. Located on Fashion Island, this school is part of Thailand preeminent university, Chulalongkorn. This school has very strict guidelines for student entrance; expect to teach the best Bangkok has to offer here.

Responsibilities:
• Teach assigned subjects to assigned classes
• Deliver prepared lessons from Project or with PowerPoint Presentations derived from McGraw Hill resources
• Modify and adapt lessons to meet the needs of your class
• Assign and grade class/home work for content mastery
• Utilize our online office management system for grading and student management
• 20- 25 Weekly teaching/contact hours (3-4 hours per day)
• Maintain weekly office hours

Working Conditions:
• Class sizes range from 25-40 students per class
• School hours are approximately 08.00-15.30 Monday to Friday
• Classrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with LCDs to display educational media (English Program only)
• Curriculum, lesson plans and sample power point lessons provided to teachers
• All teaching materials (US McGraw-Hill or UK based ESL series) are supplied by BFITS: A notebook computer (English Program only) and teacher’s editions or textbooks are issued to the teacher that contains all teaching materials, black line masters, student books, CDs, flashcards etc
Benefits:
• 34,000 to 38,000 baht salary per month plus 500 baht per hour over 80 teaching hours /monthly.
• 10 -12 month contract that can be extended for additional years and additional benefits
• End of Contract bonus up to 25,000 baht
• BUPA medical insurance paid
• One week paid vacation (additional week for each additional year of employment up to 4 weeks).
• Paid personal/sick days
• All Thai government holidays off with pay (13-15 days annually)
• Assistance in obtaining a Non-B visa.
• Visa extension, work permit, and teacher’s license paid by BFITS A Thai coordinator is assigned to the school to assist you with program maintenance, copies, etc.
• Yearly training provided - Cambridge TKT and conversational teaching techniques
• Ongoing professional development and training by internal and external trainer
• Paid certification course: Evaluation of Knowledge for Practicing the Teaching Profession Thai Language and Culture and Professional Ethics Training Course
