Business comparatives boasting game

Instructions for the teacher: This game is based on “Yuppies” in Intermediate Communication Games. Cut the worksheet into cards and ask students to deal them out. Students should take turns saying why their thing is better than the card their partner laid down before, using a different comparative adjective each time, e.g. “My oil is rarer than your gold” or “My PDA is more compact than your computer”. The game can be played with pictures (as in the PDF version below) or with flashcards with words and expressions.
