Decide with a colleague where are the best places to take a foreign guest Meet the guest (for the first time) at the airport Exchange business cards and make comments on yours or theirs  Make small talk in the taxi from the airport
 Introduce the foreign guest to your boss  Take the guest on a tour of your company Give them a presentation explaining your company  Decide with the guest where they want to go for lunch
Explain some things on the menu to the guest  Make small talk about the food  Have a friendly argument       about  who  will  pay for lunch Explain the afternoon schedule to the guest
Give the guest instructions on how to get to their hotel Greet the guest the next morning and ask them about the hotel  Offer something to drink Explain some tourist sites in your city that they can visit in the afternoon
 Exchange presents with the guest   Ask them to send your greetings to their colleagues  See the guests off in a taxi to the airport  Send an email thanking them for their visit

 
Teacher’s instructions/ rules of the game 

In pairs, students arrange the cards into the order they think these would happen during a typical visit by a foreign guest. They should then roleplay all the situations (and the parts in between, e.g. walking to the taxi), and then decide if they had the right order or not.
