What do you think about the new style?
Feedback on the new organisation of the blog gratefully accepted, a reorganisation for which I take full credit. Full credit, that is, for staying out the way and letting Josef, the TEFL.net site editor, do his technical magic without me getting in the way too much. Thanks Josef!
My defining moment with computers that showed me it was time to get out of the physics lab and into (although I didn’t know it at the time) the classroom, was when my university tutor pointed out what was wrong with my programming project and kindly offered to extend the deadline so I could sort it out - to which my reply was “Noooo, pleeeease, just give me a fail now and get it over with!”
So many thanks to Josef, without whom the closest I would get to sharing my ideas with the world would be when people find my worksheets in the scrap paper pile in the teachers’ room and end up using them themselves. In offering me the chance to start a blog he also, perhaps unwittingly, proved that any teacher at all , however untechnical, can blog- so you all have no excuse at all not to sign up for a TEFL.net blog too. See the little link in the top right hand corner of this page.

Love the new style…easy to navigate. But what blows me away is how you write all this blog stuff! When do you sleep? Do you sleep? Great blog!

Thanks for your suspiciously gushing praise “Ian Player”, are you a student in search of a good report?

w00t! nice to see you’ve given the blog a new, fresh layout (even if only by proxy)
I second the writing thing though, are you really a human and not some sort of bot intent on taking over the teaching world?

At this time the New styles is actually the Old style, or rather the pre-Old style, somewhat more like the Original style. Default style or Uncustomized style might be better descriptions. This Default style should wash out in the coming hours and days (Washington-speak) and revert to the New style, in other words the Old style that Alex refers to when he writes: “What do you think about the new style?” Hope that’s clear.

Just in case anyone’s confused, the Old New styles is now back. So this is the style that Alex was asking for comments on

It’s great - even if your Style has little style! But seriously, congratulations - it’s almost as attractive-looking as my blog, now!
