Can teacher development make you happy?
I’m reading The Developing Teacher by Duncan Foord, the latest title from the always interesting Delta Publishing (get hold of free TEFL books like this yourself by clicking here) and it popped into my head that teacher development does provide a way of getting satisfaction and a feeling of progress out of your career but also depends on having a continual feeling of dissatisfaction, which is virtually the opposite of happiness.
Hmmmmm

Any comments on CPD or this book very welcome, or indeed other TEFL things that make you go hmmmm
*Don’t you think that’s deliciously retro of me to suggest using your imagination on the internet…
