Guest pieces wanted, guest pieces supplied

Burcu Akyol kindly agreed to write me a guest piece in return for my upcoming piece there and asked for some previous examples, so was planning for this to be a list of the best guest pieces so far. When I sat down to do it though, I remembered how many (25) and how good they all are so instead I’ve labelled them all properly with the tag “Guest Writers” (maybe the only proper use of tags on TEFLtastic!) instead and you can find them by clicking on the link for that tag here.

The ones I’ve always been most interested in seeing continuations of are When I Am TEFL President and If I Was a TEFL Billionaire, but anything from and about real TEFL teachers (rather than idiots from job sites making and offering guest blog posts from Google searches- the latest kind of spam) is welcome here.

Good idea! (getting Burcu to write a guest piece for you as return payment). She bludgeoned me into a corner and convinced me with her irrepressible niceness and polite nature to write a guest piece for her at… oh yeah – Alex Case’s suggestion!

Thanks for the idea – thinking of what I want Burcu to write on my blog now…

  2. Shelly Terrell Says:

Burcu will have an article to write for me as well. Great idea!except now some will call on me as well!

  3. Alex Case Says:

Um, the idea was to write guest pieces for me, not for everyone to gang up on poor Burcu…

  4. Burcu Akyol Says:

Dear Alex and Shelly, thank you for your great contributions to the “Spread your knowledge” series and Jason, thank you too, for accepting to be my guest:-)
I would love to be a guest on your blogs! I promised Alex that I’ll write a piece for his blog which is an honour and now thinking on it. Soon, I promise that I’m going to knock your doors and ask for being a guest:-)

    All the best,
    Burcu
