An alternative to Twitter for TEFLers
Just to give you a teasing taster before I tell you what it is, let me tell you what it can do:
- You can send messages that are as long or short as you like to as many people as you please
- You can attach images, Word documents, PDF files etc in a matter of seconds
- You can give links to your own and others’ blog posts etc that you think people will find interesting precisely to the people who will appreciate them
- A system filters out most of the people you don’t want to hear from, and you can make your address as public or private as you like
And this great system is…
that’s right, email. Try it, I think you’ll like it! My own can be reached by clicking on the Contact Me button above or it’s:
my first name and surname with no gaps (all small letters) + at mark + the world’s most famous email provider, closely related to Microsoft + .com
(never really understood why people give their addresses like that online, but more fun than writing it out properly)
For more on my enthusiasm for Twitter, click on the tag of that name below

I think they write the email like that to stop the spambots from harvesting it…
or perhaps you knew that and were just joking around.

Do you have a black and white ‘telly’ and a crystal set, too?

Is a spambot a toy robot made from an empty Spam can?
I do watch Youtube in black and white. Someone told me it makes your internet cheaper, like a B&W TV license

Anyone ever told you that you rule? You totally do. Glad to know you share my opinion/suspicion that Twitter is goofy.

Never, but it feels good to be told so! Maybe I can train my daughter to tell me that every morning…
