TEFL fever
Rationally, you’d have to say that it wasn’t the best of lessons. Mentally/ spiritually, though, I had an increasing feeling that things were somehow coming together and making sense. Couldn’t really put it into words, but Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance and words like holistic might finally have made some kind of sense to me. Then I started shivering, which seemed like a strange response even to TEFL enlightenment. Halfway through reading The Gruffalo, however, a cough caused a big green blob of something to hit my trousers (and much hilarity from the children) and it all started to make sense.
Flu.
