‘Shane English School (NZ) faces liquidation’?
Don’t know if it’s true, and don’t know what it would mean if it was, but it would have a strange and worrying symmetry with the recent problems with GEOS Australia, also a mainly Japan-based chain with branches in the antipodes:

Shane English School NZ closed a few years ago so there is no similarity with GEOS’ recent problems.

Fair ‘nuf. Did say I didn’t have any further info on that matter apart from that link. If it was already closed, why would the inland revenue want to bring it to court to close it on 21 April this year, I am still wondering.

EL Gazette says that Shane South Africa closed down a month or two ago, with the remaining 23 students transferred to other schools. As most Shane Global Village schools have gone back to being plain old Global Village, that leaves Shane Global as just London and Hastings
