Jazz Chants mini review
Something akin to rapping with your students, it takes a lot of panache and belief in this method to really carry it off in the classroom. It also helps to be Californian, in my experience. If you can do them, it is a great way of practising sentence stress and weak forms, and a good energy raiser. Well worth trying for the adventurous and ex-drama students.
