World Class 2 mini review
World Class 2
In my school, we use this as the standard book for 10-12 year olds who have lived in an English-speaking country and want to keep up their language when they return home. It is one of the most interesting books for students of this age I have used (at least for the male students I have taught) with topics such as fast food and robots that they have things to say about. It generally teaches them new information about these subjects at the same time as dealing with the language point, but without seeming too much like a High School textbook. The main reason we don’t use this book with all our students of this age is that it covers an awful lot of language points- at least one for every two page spread (max. 60 minutes classroom time). Great for students who need a challenge and have enough fluency to be able to actually discuss the topics that come up.
