It’s amazing to think that no-one ever thought of this before- taking the best part of many a coursebook (the songs) and sticking them in a book on their own. Unlike many textbooks, the songs here are all the original versions (or at least a well-known cover version in the case of I Can See Clearly Now). The other good thing about it is that the tasks are suitable for low levels, which are obviously the classes for which it is most difficult to find songs and tasks yourself. The tasks generally include a clear language point (often grammar) as well as discussion questions etc- so this can limit when you can use the tasks in class, but it is worth having the book and tape just to use the songs in your own way and for a few ideas on what you can do with them.
