And you thought I was just joking when I said I was going to grind down your resistance with a litany of metaphors for teaching… So far we’ve had language learning as swimming, lesson planning as sheep dog trials, and now teaching as toilet cleaning:
Saying that TEFL teaching is a crap profession because your students don’t learn anything is like a toilet cleaner with a leaking colostomy bag saying there is no job satistaction because the floors never get clean
