About TEFL.netAbout TEFL.net

Welcome to Teflnet—a site dedicated to ESL teachers and staff. This is where you can:

Teflnet is written mainly in British English, taking the The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Current English as a reference. For American English we use Webster's New World College Dictionary as a reference.

Warning: Teflnet does not accredit or "recognize" TEFL courses. If you see any TEFL course that claims to be accredited or recognized by Teflnet or TEFL.net, beware. Caveat emptor.

Teflnet is part of the EnglishClub community. Like EnglishClub, access to all parts of Teflnet is free. But, unlike EnglishClub, which provides resources both for students and for teachers of English, Teflnet is designed exclusively for teachers.

Teflnet is your resource. Please feel free to use it in any way you wish to help you teach English. And please let us know what you think about Teflnet and what you would like to see added.

Hoping you enjoy Teflnet.
